Jack Ampuja's 35-year supply chain management career has encompassed top positions at five Fortune 500 companies, including a stint as senior vice president of operations at a multi-national corporation heading a division with $200 million a year in sales and supervising 800 employees.

For 25 years, Ampuja worked in the food industry in top supply chain management positions; for most of the 1990s, he was vice president of purchasing and logistics for Rich Products, the Buffalo-based non-dairy manufacturing giant.

Ampuja is president of the Council of Supply Chain Management professionals' western New York Roundtable, and co-chairs the Logistics Council for Buffalo Niagara Partnership [Chamber of Commerce]. He is a frequent speaker on supply chain issues and trends, making over 50 hours of presentations annually to management groups. He also writes extensively on supply chain issues in logistics and food industry trade journals.
